Kyoto River Hike -- To the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

With no question, Kyoto outshines other famous cities with its ample sights and serene grace. There is much to see and to do, but what most visitors overlook is the outstanding nature near the city. It is here, where one discovers the quiet, mystical atmosphere, that the main attractions partly lost cost by its popularity.

Look forward to a relaxed hike in the northern mountain region of the old capital. For the longest time, accompanied by birds singing and rushing water sounds, we will follow a river along steep mountain slopes and end the tour in the well-known town of Arashiyama with its Bamboo Grove. Enjoy the surroundings as your guide introduces you to the depths of Japanese society, culture, and history.
